The floor abrasion class is an indicator that informs about the wear resistance of the floor due to walking, furniture movement and other factors. The abrasion class is often marked on the floor, especially on laminate panels, vinyl panels, and sometimes on wooden floors. Normally the abrasion class is marked with a two-digit number and sometimes also with a letter, e.g. AC3, AC4.
