Laminate floor

Laminate floor is a type of floor made of multilayer panels, which consist of a core made of wood fibre (usually HDF or MDF) covered with a decorative layer imitating wood, stone or other materials. On the top of the panel there is a protective layer made of melamine resin, which provides resistance to abrasion, scratches and stains. Laminate floors are popular because of their appearance, durability and relatively low cost compared to traditional wooden floors.
