Polyvinyl butyral (PVB for short) is a special polymer that is suitable for many different applications. It is contained in many paints, varnishes and adhesives. Due to its practical properties, it can be used, among others, as a binder for paints, primers, metal powders or ceramics. As a resin it is used to create a film for laminated glass products. Thanks to its excellent adhesion and film-forming properties, polyvinyl butyral is a chemical substance that has become irreplaceable in industry.
