Solid wood – Solid wood is that part of the wood that is extracted from heartwood, the innermost part of the trunk. It follows that each type of solid wood will have its own characteristics depending on the type of plant from which it was obtained. Tables or beams made of solid wood therefore have dimensions depending on the dimensions of the trunk from which the wood itself was obtained. Its most well-known and valued technical advantage is sustained resistance. It is also a very flexible material.
