Viennese sash bars are a special type of decorative window division characteristic for the Viennese style. It is a decorative element applied to the glass, designed to recreate the appearance of classic divided windows. In traditional windows with sash bars, each small glass is individually embedded in the frame. In the case of Viennese sash bars, outside and inside a large uniform glass thin strips are glued together, creating a pattern dividing it into smaller windows. Viennese sash bars are popular in renovations of historical buildings and in new constructions which are intended to refer to historical architecture. They are used in both residential and commercial buildings. They provide a unique appearance of windows while maintaining their functionality and convenience of use.
